A group of about 180 students from Webster School came to the Museum February 11, 2011 to join others around Illinois to try to set a record. Everyone participating read the farewell address all at the same time, while hoping to break the Guinness World Record for the most people reading aloud from the same document simultaneously. The students were given a sheet of paper with the speech on it and they could keep it as a souvenir.
